Sushmita Sen is a self-made woman, says brother Rajeev after she gets trolled for dating Lalit Modi

Of late, Sushmita Sen is being criticised for dating IPL founder Lalit Modi. After Lalit made their relationship official, the Bollywood actress was trolled online and called a ‘gold digger’. Sushmita slammed the trolls by penning a hard-hitting note on social media. Now, her brother Rajeev Sen has come out in support of the actress. Sen defended his sister and mentioned that Sushmita is a self-made woman.

In his recent interview, Rajeev Sen defended his sister Sushmita after netizens called her a ‘gold digger’ for dating Lalit Modi. The actor said, “A lot has been said about my sister negatively regarding her current pictures with Mr Modi. I can proudly say that my sister is a self-made woman. She knows her priorities, she is a responsible mother and a role model for many Indians. Nothing can take that away from her. Also, whatever my sister had to say, she has done that through her Instagram posts.”

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Vikram Bhatt came out in support of his ex-girlfriend Sushmita Sen. In the interview, Bhatt said that Sushmita is a love digger and not a gold digger.

“Sushmita is the last person who checks out bank balances before she decides to fall in love with someone. I was penniless. I was directing Ghulam, but I had no money. I will not forget that Sushmita was the person who first took me to the US,” he said.

On the personal front, Sushmita had earlier dated Rohman Shawl.
