After much anticipation, Shakib Al Hasan appointed as the captain of the Bangladesh One-Day International cricket team, replacing Tamim Iqbal.
Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan Papon announced the board’s decision to reporters at his residence in Dhaka.
Shakib is currently the team’s Test and T20I captain and has the experience of leading Bangladesh in the 50-over format too.
