Newly-opened Diyar Al Muharraq park draws over 10,000 visitors

Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in Bahrain, has announced that it has welcomed over 10,000 visitors at Hadiqat Al Diyar park – conveniently located near the main entrance of the City in close proximity to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Grand Mosque – since its opening in May.

Spread over a 32,800-sq-m area, the Hadiqat Al Diyar boasts landscaped gardens and over 200 parking spots in addition to a number of sport fields apt for football, basketball, tennis, volleyball; alongside seven Padel Bahrain courts. It also has a rubber floor running track and a children’s play area of approximately 400 sq m, it stated.

Diyar Al Muharraq said the sports area includes dedicated facilities to accommodate people with special needs, fully geared with the suitable equipment recommended by rehabilitation professionals and physiotherapists.

“Hadiqat Al Diyar is equipped with various facilities that meet the needs of its visitors, including an ATM machine, alongside a designated area for food trucks where The Good Wolf Eatery, a café specialized in serving healthy drinks and snacks has newly opened in addition to Loop Café, a unique Bahraini concept café for cyclists,” said a company spokesman.

In line with Diyar Al Muharraq’s ongoing commitment to continually develop the City’s facilities, the company will soon inaugurate a plant nursery in the park which will host a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants, he stated.

Additionally, Diyar Al Muharraq has also implemented solar lights in key locations across the park, in line with its commitment towards environmental sustainability.

“In addition, the space was created to encourage residents and visitors to lead an active and healthy lifestyle, in accordance with the sustainable development goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030,
