Jordan’s King Abdullah II says Jordan experience regular border attacks by militias affiliated to Iran

Jordan’s King Abdullah II stated in an interview released on Sunday that his country experiences regular border attacks by “militias affiliated to Iran,” expressing hope for a “change in Tehran’s behavior.”

he Jordanian king warned of “drug and arms smuggling activities” that “target us as well as our brothers” in an interview with the official Jordanian daily, Al-Rai, and the need to develop a “Arab institutional defensive action structure” to fight “shared sources of threat.”

“As I have already stated on multiple occasions, Iranian interference affects Arab countries, and now we are routinely confronted with attacks on our borders by militias affiliated to Iran,” King Abdullah added.
