Haryana Govt to provide free bus ride to women on Rakshabandhan

The Haryana Government has decided to provide free travel facilities to women on the buses of Haryana Roadways on Rakshabandhan, this year also. While stating this at Chandigarh today, Haryana Transport Minister, Mool Chand Sharma said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved a proposal in this regard.

He said that the department has been providing free travel facilities to women on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan for the last several years. Like the previous year, this year also, the women can avail of the free travel facility along with their children up to 15 years of age.
