Abhishek Bachchan hugs Neeraj Chopra after his silver medal win at Paris Olympics, netizens laud actor’s gesture

The entire nation is celebrating Neeraj Chopra’s silver medal win at Paris Olympics in men’s javelin event. Amid this, a video of actor Abishek Bachchan hugging the athlete is winning hearts on the internet. People are hailing the actor’s gesture, lauding him for supporting athletes at the event.

On Friday, a video of Abhishek hugging Neeraj post his win went viral on social media. In the video, Abhishek who was cheering for Neeraj among others, can be seen hugging the athlete and whispering something in his ears. He was also seen patting Neeraj’s back and hugging him all over again. Neeraj can be seen overwhelmed by the actor’s love and support.

Neeraj’s throw was at 89.45m.

Neeraj said, “We all feel happy whenever we win a medal for the country. It’s time to improve the game now. We will sit and discuss and enhance our performance.”

On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the film Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher. The actor will soon be seen in the film titled Shootout At Byculla along with John Abraham.
